Illustration for children has been Junissa’s profession since she graduated from her master’s degree of fine arts in San Francisco. Since 2017, she had pursued her passion while being represented by an art agent named Astound, who’s based in US, UK, and Singapore. 

You can find her work ranging from children’s books, apparels, merchandises, corporate branding, murals for a government’s children hospital and more. She works mostly from home, back to back email between publishers, art directors and editors from Indonesia and abroad.

Now she had released her written and Illustrated picture book series named “Kareem & Khaleel”, published in Indonesia by Lentera Hati in 2021. With the 5 series of books that are now available, she hopes that one day they will expand to variety of medias and become the characters that children love.
